Black Sofa Records operate out of Scoots, Suits & Boots which is a clothing boutique in Oldham’s ‘Indie Quarter’ – dedicated to Mod fashions and all things Quadraphonic. They’ve gone one step further and opened a music section – named Black Sofa and they tell us the vibe is relaxed and centres around chilling around on a big black sofa whilst drinking coffee and listening to records on a late Sixties radiogram. They’ve got all sort of Vinyl including some collectable stuff and they’ll be opening an online shop soon as well.
